Our goal is to establish The Exodus Syndicate as the premier guild and community regardless of game, while maintaining an exciting and vibrant community base. Although our focus is PVP, to dominate is to master all game mechanics including raiding, crafting and city building. To obtain our vision, the following four principles will guide our decisions:

The Exodus Syndicate is proud to be a multi-gaming guild. This means we successfully manage more than one game branch, which can only happen through the rigorous efforts of our Managers and Officers. Not all games can be a supported branch, but you will always find people in the community playing the latest MMOs, single player PC and console games.

As mentioned, we use ranks for structure and delegation. Promotions are foremost based upon personality and achievements and secondly seniority and delegation. Although we use global and ingame ranks for structuring, every member is considered equally valuable and important. Your input as well as your activity and immersion in this fine guild is the glue that binds us together and makes us even better. We don't care if this is your first, second or last guild as long as you contribute with a good personality and a willingness to participate in guilding greatness.

Through the years, we discovered what it takes to succeed. Together we've been through bad times and we've been through good times and we're constantly evolving towards the better. We believe in creating a fun yet mature environment for like-minded gamers to be the absolute best way of managing a guild. We've developed an infrastructure suitable for long-time users that is unparalelled in the business. We've worked hard to find people who are both great human beings as well as extremely skilled gamers.

The ExGS was formed in 2004 in The Matrix Online by the Founders (Lexion, Kable, MisterMan, and TetraCleric). Two members named Hardwyre and Knukklehedd were also asked to come along. One year earlier we had broken out of our former guild to form our own (The Malkavian). Our former guild had a lot of good points but there were certain things needing to be improved upon. So the ExGS was born and created with a vision. A vision of something greater. Today, all but TetraCleric are still with the guild and we are proud of our heritage. Our background comes from FFA-PvP servers and we consider ourselves both very skilled and experienced Pvpers. Through what we've learned during hte years, we believe a tight team of eight players can defeat thirty un-organized but thirty organized players can rule a server and we build on that when we develop our teams and structure. We choose quality over quantity when it comes to recruiting and, mark these words, not everyone will be accepted.

In a virtual organization, communication and acceptance is key. We use Ventrilo (Voice Chat) and our forums as primary tools. You will find Ventrilo bundled with the Member Kit, ready to install. When on Ventrilo, remember to check your volume as well as your general manners towards the other members. Know that several of us have been around for a long time and while certain conversations might sound harsh and serious to you, it's just harmless trash-talking among friends.

When in specific game channels, know that others might not enjoy general banter at all times so keep it to a minimum and move to a subsidiary channel if you're having a private conversation with someone. When AFK, please move to the "AFK" channel (a muted channel).

When on Ventrilo or the Forums, stay on topic and please refrain from the discussion of religion and politics. Any thread containing racism or sexism will be locked and/or deleted. The room "Off Topics" exists for general discussions and moderation is light, so use it if you want to talk about off-topic subjects.
